You can now access self-sample testing for a range of sexually transmitted infections including chlamydia, gonorrhoea, HIV, syphilis, hepatitis B and hepatitis C via samples you can collect in the comfort of your own home.
The service is available to people aged 16 and over, who do not have any symptoms (Asymptomatic) If you have symptoms home testing is not right for you. Please contact the clinic on 01744 646473 to book in for a telephone triage and the nurse will advise on the best course of action.
The specific tests and/or services provided are usually determined by completing an online consultation; once completed your samples will be posted out to you.
Completing the tests are easy! You can watch this video (link) to show you how to complete the tests. It is important to complete the test and return it as soon as possible after completion.

If you have vaginal discharge, over the counter treatments for candida (thrush) or bacterial vaginosis will often resolve the problem.

Waiting for test results?If we have your correct mobile number and permission to text you, you will receive a text message from us when your results are back. Results take up to two weeks to be returned so please wait at least two weeks after your appointment or after sending your self-test kit sample back before contacting us.
